So many things to do and so little time.
I didn’t feel like I was acclimatized for at least 24 hours in Woodbridge with the local crew Josh, Drew, E. Speece, Agents Of Woe formerly Memphis new wave techno cats.
The Blank party on Sat and No Way Out spot on Sun will be pure Classic Detroit Acid Style Nuttiness. The full experience through dark corridors in a near dilapidated building with giant bars and ceilings draped in cammo and fabric to close in the experience. Nice to see this aesthetic still alive and well.
Lots of new material from Vacuum, Spleece, Dahlberg, A.O.W., with the unheralded Andy Toth dropping the heat with Billy Love and the Exchange Bureau track Thrillseekers. DON’T MISS all ?12? of them performing while Billy Love MC’s at the Fest from 9-10 @ the Red Bull Stage Saturday night. You can pop right out of that and not have to wait in line outside Pulse 126 Monroe St to catch the Acid House pioneer & originator up close & personal> He’s coming straight from Belgium where he was playing for thousands to a room that holds 120.
Afro Acid Detroit celebrates the release of “Da Jungle”!
Thanks to Dark Cube of DTM for the gear help, Hack for transports. Josh & Drew for clothing me and Matt Abbott for being a fuggin nut. Blasting Off from the Launch Pad in moments. A little “Logans Run” and modernistic dance beats. It’s almost “Ride The Snake” but unplugged.
Nearly forgot last nights Music painting @ the DIA more to come but it was the most Decibel festival like thing this year. Lovely sounds in a wonderfully accoustic space with live visuals. SWEET,
Thanks to Colin Z & People Mover!
